Villas in Alicante

This popular tourist city is a magnet for thousands of sunseekers every year, and it’s not just for the weather.

In the heart of the city there is Postiguet Beach, popular during the day and busy in the evening when it's illuminated by sodium street lights.

Just a few kilometres away is the 7km long San Juan Beach, considered to be one of the finest in Spain.

With castles, museums and the picturesque streets of the old town, there are plenty of other things to see and do

Gran Alacant Rentals

Situated in between Alicante city and Santa Pola is the resort town of Gran Alacant. We stayed there personally in 2010 – and found it a brilliant, low-cost location for a family holiday. Gran Alacant rentals are built in a large number of urbanisations which are all secure – with the town split roughly into three. You can walk everywhere, although the land-train introduced in 2010 is very welcome as the town is built on a hill, so walking everywhere in July / August is not advised for the elderly or young.

Gran Alacant is on the coast with the beautiful Carabassi beach well worth the walk. Set further back are a range of Alicante villas to rent next to the fabulous Gran Alacant Commercial Centre, which is well worth a visit. We found endless English speaking shops, bars and restaurants and the cost of eating out was not as expensive as some of the larger resorts on the Costa Blanca.
